About Us

The mission of Westminster Presbyterian Church is to be a joyful community of faith in which persons are nurtured, challenged, and comforted, and through which Christ takes form in this community and the world at large.

Connect with the Westminster church family through:

Presbyterian Men: There has been a dramatic growth in the men's program over the past three years. The third Tuesday of each month finds a group of 25 or more men gathered for dinner, fellowship, and an interesting program. Additionally, a hearty group of twenty men gather every Saturday morning for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Each group has its own special projects, sharing generously of their time, talent, and money.

Women of Westminster: The Presbyterian Women have long been a source of strength and generosity in the congregation. Several circles meet monthly to enjoy fellowship, Bible study, and to consider ways to aid the church and community. Click HERE for more info on our Presbyterian Women's Ministry.

Keenagers: A "youthful" group of age 50+ who meet monthly for fun, food, and fellowship. Click here for more information on this group! Click HERE for more Info!

Youth of the Church: The Youth of Westminster Presbyterian Church are a vital part of the ministry of the congregation. Meeting weekly as Middle School Fellowship and as Senior High Fellowship, there are opportunities for sixth through twelfth graders to enjoy a well-rounded program of worship, service, study, and recreation.  A special group, WEB (Westminster Elementary Believers) is for second through fifth graders and this will surely be a high energy gathering for all involved! Fellowship: Someone has said that those Presbyterians are always eating! We DO love to get together and break bread! The Fellowship Committee of the church does an excellent job of providing opportunities for members and guests to gather for food, fellowship, and faith. During the year, you will find Pig Picking's, Chili Suppers, and Ice Cream Socials. A weekly Wednesday night supper during October and January through May has become a delightful way for members to get to know one another. Volunteers set up, cook up, and clean up this early evening program.

Christian Education: Westminster provides a graded program of educational opportunities for children, beginning with a well-staffed nursery for our youngest members. Children and youth enjoy classes led by committed volunteers who challenge and stimulate growth and understanding about who we are as Christians in today's world. Five adult classes offer a variety of ways to grow as men and women who seek to be faithful to our commitment to be life-long learners on our faith journey.  Church school begins at 9:45 a.m.
